Norcross,
GA (November 14, 2008) BravePoint, Inc., a leading provider of technology consulting, programming and training, announced today the launch of a new training offering, e-Classroom. Most of us are familiar with webinars, a type of education where the medium of instruction is web-based, but BravePoint has taken the concept to a new level. E-Classroom provides the student with the experience of attending a real classroom, including live streaming video, two-way interactive audio, whiteboard chalk-talks, remote desktop access for lab activities, and multiple video views of the instructor and the classroom environment.
“We’re very excited to offer this experience to our customers,” remarked John Harlow, President of BravePoint. “In this economy it is difficult for companies to justify investing in training when the cost includes travel dollars and inconveniences plus the loss of the student's productive time for several days in a row. With e-Classroom training, the experience feels like you are right there with the instructor, but you don’t have to leave your office.”
Classes offered in the e-Classroom format are
taught in a modular way, usually in four hour
segments. Cost is around $400 per class and
initial topics will include:
ProDataSets Part I
ProDataSets Part II
OpenEdge Architect/Eclipse
OpenEdge OO Programming Part I
OpenEdge OO Programming Part II
