  It wasn't always that way, however. Treadepot's previous site wasn't integrated with its back­end Progress TM application. Therefore, nothing was in real time. Customers could not access product information, cost, availability, or shipping status, and all e-mail orders had to be entered manually, wasting time, and increasing the opportunity for error. The Treadepot site was desperately out of alignment with today's e-commerce business solutions as well as consumer expectations. The company knew it needed expert help to put its online store on the road to success.

  Using Webpro EX and WebSpeed 3.1 b, BravePoint put the pedal to the metal to transition Kauffman Tire's distribution system to the Web, providing customers a fast and easy way to shop for and purchase tires online as well as giving employees an efficient, automated order processing and fulfillment system for online orders.
  What's more, BravePoint design specialists upgraded the site's front end by creating an intuitive user interface and distinctive graphics that support the Treadepot.com brand. Now, Treadepot.com customers can easily search the complete inventory, place orders, check status, and provide feedback online.
   Despite the broad scope of the project, BravePoint upgraded the new Treadepot.com site from inception to deployment in three­and­a­half months. Within days of the site's relaunch, customers were raving. Things are rolling right along.
